There are numerous potholes on the section of King Street from the Breedon Quarry entrance (identified by the pin on the map) northbound over a 200 metre stretch of the road. The potholes are mainly in the centre and at the left and right side of the road. Photos C1 to C4 show examples of the potholes in the centre of the road along this 200 metre stretch - C1 shows the Breedon entrance to help locate the problem - and photos N1 and N2 show examples of potholes on the side of the road for traffic going north. In addition, the general road surface is deteriorating particularly at the edges of previously repaired tarmac. Photos G1 to G3 show examples of potholes along the edges of these previous repairs – to help locate the problem G2 shows the road looking north on King Street and G3 shows the road looking south.

This report is submitted by Colin Blagrove. I am a West Deeping parish councillor. The road surface has been deteriorating for some months and is getting worse. The road surface to the south of the Breedon Quarry entrance to the crossroads with the A1175 is generally in good condition having been recently resurfaced. I have only been able to upload photographs C1-C3: I will send all photographs by separate email.
