Slow sign unreadable Reported anonymously at 12:22, Wed 14 April 2021 The slow sign painted on the floor adjacent to 34/35 Fen road is now illegible. The warning sign has little to no effect for oncoming traffic into and out of the village. Recent repairs have further compounded the effect and the slow sign is now unreadable due to recent surface repairs. A growing concern is the speed of traffic entering the village in particular large HGVs and speeding cars early morning. With an increased foot flow of pedestrians since lockdown and parents encouraged to walk the school run the risk of an incident seems increasingly likely. I recently assisted an old lady who had fallen into my driveway, fortunately she fell to towards the house and not the road as a fast approaching farm vehicle would not have been able to stop.
