Large ruts on grass verge caused by farm vehicles and domestic SUV’s Reported anonymously at 16:32, Tue 25 May 2021 I wish to complain.about the disgusting state of the grass verge in the lay-by where I live. This is the lay-by on the North side of the A52 opposite the A52 Bicker Road/Church Road junction in Donington. A farmer insists on taking heavy farm machinery over this grass and it never has time to recover. There are always deep ruts which fill with mud and water and it is a complete eyesore. SUV vehicle(s) also go over the grass and adjacent pedestrian path leaving this with mud and water covered potholes, there is plenty of room in the adjacent farm vehicle storage yard to turn vehicles around and exit the lay-by via the road in a proper manner. Last year I slipped and fell on this mud fortunately I only had bruises but the mud would not clean from a perfectly good coat. I have complained about this problem several times over the time I have lived here and I have had no response or satisfaction. I would appreciate someone actually coming out and seeing this disgusting mess for themselves and I would also appreciate your thoughts about what might be done about it. Yours sincerely Merrilin A Russell
