Large subsidence hole from previous road works between 2/3 Oak Court in public turning space of the road Reported anonymously at 02:45, Fri 1 July 2022 This hole is getting worse, it was previously work done on electricity but the subsidence is now deeper and dangerous to road users and pedestrians especially at night time. Drivers try to avoid it, in doing so they reverse/drive onto the gardens of numbers 2 and 3 and take the corner too sharply to avoid this hole. There is also a tarmac seam that has worn away and is causing a hole as well. The entire road of Church Close/Oak court is in need of attention due to the HGVs and vans that use it daily, the curb in places has been driven over and is also in a very poor state of repair. The road needs widening where possible (grass verges can easily go) to allow resident parking and easier access for service vehicles and the waterboard as they have a sewage works here and need access.
