Beehive Lane, Eagle LN6

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2903215.

As the A46 was at a standstill due to the lost village event, I followed my sat nav towards my home address in North Hykeham. This way took me down Beehive Lane towards Eagle. The roads were extremely muddy, it was pouring down and there was a lot of traffic about. Due to Beehive Lane being extremely narrow, cars had to move to the side to allow others to pass. This is where I struck a pot hole which frightened me as it went with a massive bang. I waited until it was safe to examine my car in Eagle village. Unfortunately said pot hole has caused damage to my alloy wheel on my passenger side. I am extremely upset and worried if any other damage has been done to my car. I am unsure as to whereabouts this was but will ask my partner to drive me out there over the weekend to look. It wasn't the right time or place to stop my car today at the exact location due to the conditions. Thank you

  • Great news, we’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed to our Highways Officers for the team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when the assessment has taken place.
