Hi we are new owners and the son of: 1 park farm cottages, park farm road, Kettlethorpe, Ln1 2LD. My mother Colette living there is elderly and 67 years old in the cottage.

The surface water comes off the a57 road and is coming on to my property flooding it I’ve got 2 inch’s of water in my property and videos and photos of the water. The sand bags aren’t helping. There is NOT ENOUGH Concrete CURBSTONES. To control the flooding from the water from a57 Needs to be least 150 meters worth. The gully’s of drainage is blocked it been reported countless times. I think someone in office has got a vendetta against park farm road residents as nothing is getting done. There is loads of residents on park farm road council tax is paid and it’s awful situation for my mother Colette who is 67 years old elderly to be in. If nothing is properly done it’s going to be made public. We pay our council taxes. I want to know exactly who is the main person is in charge of making decisions as the reports have been made before about the same thing. Please contact us on : 07914612005 Where does the councillor live who’s in charge of the jobs for a57 highways. It’s clear as day he or she has a person issue with a resident. Whilst innocent people like us suffer.

  • We are sorry but we are not taking immediate action with this report because upon inspection the drains in the area have been cleared and approved. Furthermore, the length of the carriageway does not fall under Lincolnshire County Council liability. We do however have this in hand with the floods and water team, this will be investigated and actioned under there response. Thank you for reporting this matter.
