Williamsons Drive is currently not safe to drive on .In most vehicles its impossible as there are many defects in the road causing safety issues and damage to vehicles .The road is also not safe to walk on because of trip hazards ..We have had visitors that have had damage to to the underside of vehicle ..We own a sports car that is unable to leave our address as the road is not fit for purpose but everyday cars are almost unable to use the road in its current state The road has had a couple of attempts at repair hut made no differwnce overall and it is in the worst state it has ever been in Can you please advise when this is likely to be rectified before i seek further advice regarding the safety issue of leaving our home .

Great news, we’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed to our Highways Officers for the team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when the assessment has taken place.

We're sending you this message to let you know that we've assessed the road condition and at this time it does not require urgent repair. However we have identified this location for a larger scale improvement scheme. At this stage we are unable to give specific dates for this or definitely commit to the scheme because we prioritise these schemes based on condition compared with the rest of the County road network and the resources available to us each year. We will continue to monitor this location as part of our routine inspections of the highway in the meantime. Thank you for reporting this matter.
