Problem at other roadworks problem

Caller says that National Grid came out to sort out a power cut and one of the workers dug a hole and the electricity board came to sort the power issue. The work has finished and the hole is still there but fenced off. CSC asked her to call National Grid but she has been on the phone to ELDC and been waiting for a hour with LCCs to get through and is frustrated. Also children going to and from school are at danger she says.

  • Great news, we’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed to our Highways Officers for the team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when the assessment has taken place.
