Missing footbridge.

Footbridge totaly missing & also footpath sign missing!

  • It has been discovered that there is no proven public footpath connection to the A15 at Newton Grange Farm at the route's southern end. This has effectively rendered the route a cul-de-sac. In the absence of the ability to make a through route available, repairs to the furniture on a cul-de-sac cannot be prioritised. The earlier footbridge had decayed to a point of near collapse and concern raised by the public. Accordingly, this was removed without replacement some time ago. We are unlikely to offer any enforcement or maintenance outlay until and unless either compelled to do so or the public establish the existence of a through right of way back to the A15 as enjoyed in previous years. Thank you for reporting this matter.
