Safety barriers used to block off Chapel Lane from Bailgate for the cycle racing have been dragged down the street and left blocking a large proportion of the road. This is forcing traffic to mount the pavement outside my property. It is not signed with hazard warnings and is frankly dangerous. The organisers should be cautioned so this is not repeated next year.

Great news, we’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed to our Highways Officers for the team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when the assessment has taken place.
