Extensive flooding on magpie close
Reported via mobile in the Standing water covering more than half the road category anonymously at 21:49, Sunday 6 September 2026
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2904237.
This bottom of magpie close has flooded yet again, I think the drainage system has a fault like a collapsed pipe because it always does it here, however there’s only two drains at the bottom here so maybe they can’t cope. LCC needs to find the root course as this is getting very close to the houses it was less than 10cm away from getting into the houses

Thanks for getting in touch with us. In this case, we’re not responsible for this issue. All of the highway drainage system has been fully checked and no issues were found. The survey confirms that the Environment Agency maintained watercourse (Skellingthorpe Beck) in which the drainage system outfalls requires cleaning out and regrading. We have reported this to them on your behalf and asked them to investigate. Please contact them directly if you require any further information. Thank you for reporting this matter.
