Damaged or broken rattling drains

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2904503.

Rattling drain covers are causing a persistent noise nuisance 24 hours a day whenever vehicles drive over them. The issue was previously repaired, but the problem has now returned. The noise is affecting nearby residents’ sleep and mental wellbeing, and it cannot be left in this condition. Please inspect and carry out a permanent repair as a matter of urgency.

  • Great news, we’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed to our Highways Officers for the team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when the assessment has taken place.
