Outside 43 Almond Avenue

Reported via mobile in the Tree roots raising footpath category anonymously at 09:24, Sunday 13 September 2026

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2904856.

The existing pavement/path on the opposite side of the tree is uneven and has already resulted in my son, who has a severe disability, tripping on multiple occasions. This presents an ongoing safety and accessibility concern.

I also have concerns about the condition of the council-owned highway tree, as there appear to be significant cavities and wounds in the trunk, including an opening lower down the main trunk. Could an arboricultural officer please inspect the tree and confirm its health and structural condition? I would like to submit an application for a dropped kerb, but I am unsure whether this would be considered acceptable due to the location of the tree within the proposed access area. My son is severely disabled and has a Blue Badge, and accessing vehicles from our home is extremely difficult due to the uneven ground and the distance between the property and where a vehicle can currently be parked.
