Slippery road surface in ford near Walcot

Today yet another cyclist fell from their bicycle due to the slippery road surface in the ford between Walcot and Pickworth. The cyclist suffered a broken femur and was attended by the notts and lincs air ambulance as well as a normal ambulance and a fire engine at signigicant cost. The slippery state of the road has previously been reported but no action has been taken. Can someone please examine the road surface in the ford with a view to making it safe for cyclists and other road users to use? At the very least installation of road signs warning of the problem should be erected but ideally a non-slip surface should be laid.
