As you drive along Westgate , after turning right from the Bail , I have noted that there are worn road markings indicating that one should give way at the junction alongside St Paul's Lane . I have not seen a Give Way sign , there is only a sign indicating that the road is for two way traffic after this point . I am somewhat surprised if my understanding from this is that traffic should give way to traffic leaving the St Paul's Lane area . My understanding would be to give way to traffic turning into St Paul's Lane , rather surprised if intention is to give way to traffic leaving St Paul's Lane . I would have thought that a Give Way sign needs to sited at this spot , rather than reliance on road markings , which after all cannot be seen in the dark .

As previously discussed no Give Way signage other than road markings at junction of Westgate and St Paul's Lane when driving towards Burton Road .
