Meter long ankle deep pothole on single track road

This pothole has been growing for the past couple of months. It is now becoming in passable as it on a single track road and where 4x4s have been on the grass verge to pass it on the other side on the road it has started to create another hole and a dip in the road. The whole stretch of road in now in a complete state and needs looking at. When we have had heavy rain it completely fill the pot whole with water but with the other side of the road actually creating a bigger puddle (lake) it ticks anyone that doesn't know the pot hole is there into driving into it.
