The whole road is coming up our house shakes every time anything bigger the a bike goes past

Reported in the Potholes category by Christopher Curwood at 17:36, Tue 20 February 2018

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council 4 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1222769.

This length of roads has broken up we had contracteds last year but told us the concrete road underneath has broken up and it was a two bigger job for them and to contact the council again I did that and they sent a lorry that chucked in some tarmac then drove over it with the lorry to flatten it out . It lasted less the 1 week

  • They have been and put a bit of dry tar in some of the holes but it’s made no difference at all and it’s coming up already

  • They have been a put a few shovels of tar in the holes but it hasn’t fixed anything as I was told by the own engineer that the road underneath has broken up and the only way to fix it was to take it up and fix it properly but again no fix just a bit of tar on a day when it was poring it down with rain . I went and asked why it was just I quick fix to be told there is no money to repair the road properly and they told me this would only last a few weeks and again they were right as it has

  • Well they have been and shoved a bit of tar in some of the holes but like I was told by one of there own workers this may last a few weeks that’s if we are lucky . So to say it’s fixed no but to say it’s been bodged for a few more weeks we will have to wait and see , as the house still shakes every time anything bigger than a pushbike goes by , I don’t hold up to much chance

  • It’s still as bad and a week last Friday a tree on the side of the road decided it had shuck enough that it decided to fall right across my car now I have to claim for that and will have to see how this goes

  • Still the same from what I have heard it will never get fixed as it’s not a priority and will have to wait till the sun don’t shine anymore

  • I don’t think this will ever gets fixed . Lincolnshire country council think the way to fix roads is to pop a bit of cold tar in the holes and drive over it with the back wheels of a lorry is the only way to fix problem roads
