Rain water from road runs off onto path

Reported in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 22:44, Thu 12 April 2018

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 1280214.

Ever since the road was redesigned there has always been a muddy mess on the path at the pedestrian crossing point for Woolram Wygate.

It was only when I was walking from from the play area then down Woolram Wygate that I noticed water was running off the main road, down Woolram Wygate, onto the pedestrian crossing point and accumulating on the path, unable to soak away because of the tarmac. There is either a blocked drain or a design fault. Which ever way it is, it is dangerous, fortunately the weather is warming up but over the very cold spells it has ice over into black ice, namely because of the black mud from the road
