Large Potholes and Road caving away. This is affecting D. R. Garner (Farming) as delivery lorries are not happy using the road. It is directly affecting the business.
Reported in the Potholes category anonymously at 11:41, Sat 5 May 2018
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council 3 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1303802.
Work only gets done on this road when there is some left over tarmac, a couple of guys turn up in a transit pick up, chuck some tarmac in with a shovel and then run over it with the vehicle to press it in. The sides of the road are going now and the potholes cannot be dodged round it needs to be fixed properly as it is damaging vehicles.

The road has dried out now and it would be possible to redo a large part of it. As before delivery lorries are now complaining about the state of the road and damage it is doing to there vehicles. I have just incurred a large repair bill for my vehicle which I will stand but the next one will need to be sent to the council!! The track beyond the yard is part of the lindsey trail and is also falling into disrepair and requires urgent attention as it is used by more and more tourists and is not a good image for the area.

Sorry to raise this again. Repairs are urgently needed between the pair of cottages and the yard. This does not require a quick fix but a proper repair as my suppliers and customers are complaining that it is
Putting a heavy toll on their vehicles and mine. The road is a council highway to the entrance of my yard and is in a bad way. The road beyond my yard is also part of the Lindsey Trail and as such also requires attention as it now fills with water from edge to edge and is impassable to anyone who does not have suitable footware. It is classified as a byway and as such is not my resposibility to keep in a good state.

This road is now in a terrible state and I would like to request a visit by a highways surveyor. The road is now breaking up because of the frost and it is the county councils resposability to keep it in good repair. It is so bad that walkers could trip and fall and sue the council. David R Garner.
