Road melting and degrading

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council 3 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1380836.

Not a pothole as such, but a combination of very hot weather and heavy lorries has rolled up the tarmac around this bend as if it was icing. Significant "burm" on the outside of the bend northbound. Needs skimming and resurfacing.

Updates

  • On passing the area on 30th august a huge "lump" of tarmac is on edge of the bend, similar in size to a "sleeping policeman" approx 6 feet by 1 foot by about 5 inches high.

  • Does anybody at NE Lincs Council read these reports? This problem's been there for a month now and nothings happened...
