Poor road surface and subsided service access covers.
Reported in the Manhole/drain cover on road/cycleway category anonymously at 10:33, Wed 19 September 2018
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council 2 minutes later. Council ref: 337992.
I have reported NUMEROUS times over the last 2 years that the service covers directly outside our house are subsiding. When large vehicles drive over these at speed, vibrations can be felt in my property, and some cracking has appeared. These have been marked up for months and I have asked for them to be addressed for nearly twp years, so if these are not addressed as a matter of urgency, I will have to pay for equipment to measure the vibrations, and if found to be due to the road I will take further action. The road speed should also not be national speed limit as this goes against the Government guidance for an unclassified road in poor condition, and also the poor state of the road.

Thank you for reporting a fault on the highway.
Unfortunately, this issue cannot be dealt with by the county council as the asset concerned is the responsibility of a third party. You will need to report the fault directly to the organisation responsible. Contact details are available at https://www.lincolnshire.gov.uk/ highways-contactsState changed to: No further action

I’m pretty much disgusted by your response and the attempt to pass it on elsewhere, which has been the case for a long time. This issue is not closed and your link does direct me to the correct 3rd party. I pay enough council tax to not be passed around numerous places, and as your website states, it is Fox my Street!
The highways contact you have tried to pass me off to are responsible for motorways and major roads, which South Drove is not! There this case is NOT closed!

The road condition for ALL of South Drove is in poor condition and I am still getting vibrations to my property, ESPECIALLY with the 40/50 aggregate lorries that use it for the South Drove Gravel Pit.
The service covers area has now subsided further, and each time a HGC or Aggragate lorry drives down the road at 45/60 mph this is sending vibrations to my property.
My next step is to pay £900 for a vibration survey, and this and other costs will be forwarded to you
