No street light

Reported in the Street light category anonymously at 23:16, Sun 28 October 2018

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council 4 minutes later. Council ref: 340300.

There is no street light within the culdesac which leaves the area unsafe and unlit. At this time of year when the nights draw in quicker sometimes I return home with my 3 small children and feel very unsafe in the darkness. There are also several elderly residents within the area who also feel similarly. The light that is opposite the area is abstructed by the garage in front and so blocks all light. Another light or different position of the street light exsisting could be considered. I have my own lights outside my house but these are not near good enough for the large area of houses. There is a large woodland area near the houses and could be a hotspot for people who wanted to commit any kind of crime against residents such as car breakins etc and would be easily able to in the cover of darkness. It is very hard to show photos as evidence it would be easier for someone to visit the area at night to understand the problem. The light in the photos I have attached is that of my camera flash
