Surface deeply rutted on the raised portion of road.
Reported in the Road surface issue category anonymously at 11:19, Tue 13 November 2018
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council 1 minute later. Council ref: 341362.
I reported this last year and apart from two very minor holes being filled in, the real issue was ignored. There is deep rutting to the road surface on the raised, speed-restricting part of the road at the junction of Trent Road/Goodliff Road. I travel this route at least twice a day and it is so bad, I have to drive on the other side of the road when travelling towards Harlaxton Road. It requires immediate attention.

I have also reported this about 4 times in the space of 3 months and they still have not fixed this also reported the 2 potholes one next to the drain coming from harlaxton road unto this junction also the 2 potholes you cannot see the other side of the raised speed hump, shocking when this has been reported so many time and the council claim the look after the roads after so many reports this should be brought to immediate attention.

The raised traffic calming platform on the junction of Trent road and goodliffe road is an accident waiting to happen especially for cyclists. The potholes there are getting wires by the day. I can see claims by the score for car suspensions. If possible I drive on the wrong side of the road to try and avoid the potholes. The whole section wants resurfacing ASAP.

When will this road actually be fixed. It is an accident waiting to happen. I have reported it several times and nothing gets done. I for one have had to have new springs on my car and that is with crawling over this bit of road as there is no way to avoid hitting some of the ruts. It is a complete disgrace and should be repaired asap. The whole part of the road need planing and resurfacing before there is some real damage.

I have just lodged a formal complaint about the attitude of the Council. Firstly, when I logged this report back in February, they closed it down within an hour of me opening it. That shows clear intention from the outset. Not even a word of explanation as to the reasons. I then reopened it asking why they had closed it. Not a word from them, to this day. Yesterday, following a comment from another 'victim', they closed it again. Perhaps it has now reopened itself following the last road-user's comment?? I don't know. It's a complete disgrace how they treat the taxpayer.

I travel this route twice a day and have to go on the wrong side of the road to avoid damaging my new suspension. I had to replace it following the daily trek over this 'ploughed field' that finally took it's toll a couple of months ago. The main bushes were completely shot. Thanks LCC !

My initial statement said that this report was closed within an hour of it initially being opened. I was wrong....it was closed within ONE MINUTE. It's an absolute disgrace. I am reopening it again in the hope that someone will have the decency to give us an explanation.

Thank you for at least giving us a different reply and one that is a little more hopeful....I think. However, can you please explain why the status keeps getting set to CLOSED? Surely, it is not closed until a proper investigation/assessment is done and remedial work carried out. Until that time, surely it is ONGOING??

Closed again with no answer to questions. I get an email every morning and one every evening at 1702 exactly. Clearly this is just a game and it is being auto-closed.

I had an email to say that this ongoing problem was fixed!!. Is it heck as like fixed. It is worse than going over a railway crossing with half the rails missing. What is it going to take before this problem is fixed and properly fixed and not bodged. Obviously no-one has actually been to look at it or if someone has they more than likely don't live here so are not bothered about it!! I amongst others have reported this problem on numerous occasions!!

The Highways department, if it is them amending this report, are an absolute disgrace. If any of you are actually reading this, I would love to see a copy of your code of conduct because I am willing to bet that you are breaking most of what is written in it. You should be ashamed of yourselves.
