Speed sign knocked down and other speed sign
Reported in the Pole/signal knocked down category anonymously at 14:57, Fri 30 November 2018
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council 3 minutes later. Council ref: 342409.
Enter Ropers Lane from Boston Road and after passing all the houses on your right, you will see that the 30/60MPH speed sign on the right has been knocked down and is lying on the grass verge. It is not obstructing the highway, but would damage grass cutting equipment if it was hit. The speed sign on the left has also been knocked. I don't think the sign needs replacing as having two speeds signs opposite each other on narrow country roads makes it difficult for larger, modern farm machinery to pass, so if replaced there is a good chance it will be damaged again.
