Back to all reports

Every time it rains hard for a protracted period this part of the road becomes inundated with water. The drain looks as though it may be blocked, or probably damaged - perhaps by the number of heavy goods vehicles on this village road. It happened in June 2018 and last week. I was abroad between August 2018 and 16 December 2018.

Reported in the Flooding category by David Stubbs at 21:52, Fri 28 December 2018

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council 3 minutes later. Council ref: 344019.

I think the drain has collapsed somewhere between 19 and 27 Royal Oak Lane. Beyond 27 there is no problem when it rains.

  • The Council have given a holding answer, saying they would prioritise the problem - but what priority they have assigned, if any, is still unclear. I expect the problem will reoccur when it rains hard again.
