This problem is compounded by missing overhead lighting globes that was destroyed many years ago. This junction and the island is a serious hazard that needs to be repaired before there is a death or serious injury. We have already had a high profile accident here (a Sky Sports presenter, Jake Humphries) and I will be asking him to add his voice to local complaints over the lack of repair on such a busy stretch of the A17.
