Surface splitting
Reported in the Road surface issue category anonymously at 19:12, Wed 23 January 2019
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council 2 minutes later. Council ref: 345653.
The centre of the road is subsiding badly here and at other points along Roman Bank now named (Huttoft Bank). Driving around the bend at one point can throw you off line if you are not aware of the issue. The difference in road surface level either side of the splitting is around 6 cm. I drive this route once a week and over the last six months it has become dangerous which is quite worrying, especially if not aware of it and in the dark . It is a unlit narrow carriage way that is used by quite a lot of traffic.
