Soakaways on south side of Green Man Road are blocked and no drainage on north side creates huge puddles that splash pedestrians.
Reported in the Flooding category by Dr P Smith, K Parker, J Gleave at 18:00, Sun 3 February 2019
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 346222.
Building site and other traffic have damaged the soakaways by parking and driving along the path on the South side of Green Man Road. Several bridged kerb stones are cracked and some path tarmac is sinking into them. Work by Power On last year for the site created further damage as the path was dug up and collapsed into the soakaways. Rain causes large muddy puddles to form- site mud deposited on road from site vehicle wheels. School children and adults are in constant danger of being splashed by passing vehicles. The North side of Green Man Rd has no drainage so huge muddy puddles also form there. This has been going on for over 15months. Last year a Highways team surveyed the soakaways and one employee said 'some are totally blocked' Is it possible for the soakaways to be sucked out by a grubber or could proper drains be installed?
