Hole next to drain cover and road surface around drain cover collapsing. Outside 27 Quadring Road,Donington,PE11 4TD.

Reported in the Pothole on road/cycleway category by Steve Pulfer at 10:37, Tuesday 5 February 2019

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council 2 minutes later. Council ref: 346331.

On 21-01-2019 I reported to LCC Highways Dept. a large pothole around a drain cover on Quadring Road,Donington,PE11 4TD ( outside no.27 ),and that the cover appears to be collapsing into the drain. On 25-01-2019 I received a final report (Ref.no.345454 ) that this had been `fixed`. It had been - the hole had been filled with loose bitumen - so loose that passing traffic has already knocked around 50% of it out again! Please see attached photos. This is a danger to cyclists - PLEASE can it be repaired PROPERLY before it sends someone over their handlebars? Thanks!
