This work was carried out in an extremely shoddy manner - no debris was cleared from the pot-holes prior to filling. The first "repair" came out in one piece - ( around 55cm across) within a few hours. All others are already breaking up with loose material being thrown up at residents cars. Is the work carried out by your "Alliance Partners" inspected thoroughly before being passed for payment or is our money being wasted on this sort of work?

What a FIASCO! Three blokes in a van. Put some tarmac in the holes, parked up in Green Lane for an hour to have coffee and cakes, and moved on somewhere else! No effort at removing the stones at the bottom of the pot-holes - just put some soft tarmac in the hole, stamped it down with the heel of a boot and moved on to have a coffee break. What happened to removing the old stones from the pot-hole? Will tarmac grip onto loose stones. Lincs Highways - You have got a lot to learn about road maintenance. What happened to the old fashioned Tamper? When at least the tarmac was secured? It seems that Highways Alliance are employing the best cowboys in the UK! How many pot-holes are fixed in a day, bearing in mind the crew have to have coffee breaks, lunch breaks and afternoon tea! Too much money spent on too little effect! Paul Matten.
