Collapsed block paving on access ramp to drive
Reported in the Trip hazard/uneven surface category anonymously at 19:28, Mon 25 February 2019
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council 2 minutes later. Council ref: 347699.
The access ramp to the drive at my residences (19 Badgers Oak, Bassingham, LN5 9JP) has collapsed and is now proving to be a trip hazard to the residents in the cul-de-sac. This is especially true around the fire hydrant access point - pictures 2 and 3. Additionally, I am having my drive re-instated due to the fact that it has also sagged and has become dangerous. As you can see from the first photo that when the drive has been re-laid the difference in height due to the sagging of the existing access ramp and the newly laid area will also become a trip hazard and may cause damage to my vehicle when I access the drive. I have lived in the property for four years and this problem has become worse during this period.

Thank you for the update. Until this access ramp is repaired I am unable to park on my drive which is in contravention against the covenant placed on my property. I will be seeking legal advice as to where I stand. As a law abiding individual who pays his council tax I find this lack of service appalling. As a military veteran I expected better from the country I have supported through the 28 years I served and the many operations I deployed on. I am now asking myself why I pay my council tax. If I pay for a service then I expect to be supported. If there is no service then I do not see why I should pay for that service. If you will not take any action then I will repair the fault so I can access my drive.
