Innadequate drainage on the A158
Reported in the Flooding category by Nick Schofield at 09:24, Sun 10 March 2019
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council 1 minute later. Council ref: 348408.
10/03/19 @ 0720 hrs. Along the entire length of the A158 from Horncastle to Lincoln due to heavy rain there were numerous areas where the water was covering up to and over half of the road. This is due to the drains being blocked or not enough channels being cut into the verges. This is a real road safety hazard and could result in the loss of life. It would be extremely dangerous for motorcycles. The entire route needs to be inspected during heavy rainfall as this will highlight the issue and show where remedial work is required.
