The tarmac is dmaged following a vehicle fire. Concern has been raised with the Parish Council as to safety as this is close to the junction of Broughton LAne and Coleby Lowfields and may result in loss of vehicle control. Please confirm that Highways have considerd the damage and that it does not constitute a hazard as there were road works signs erected but no work done.

The tarmac was damaged in a vehicle fire. The surface is now damaged and has not been repaired despite there having been road work signs erected for a while. these have now disappeared. The Parish Council is concerned that the surface is not safe and constitutes a safety hazard close to the junction of Broughton Lane and Coleby Lowfields. Please confirm that LCC highways have assessed the risk of leaving the road surface in the current state and advise when this will be repaired
