6m long, 50mm deep chain of holes in road surface in Square.
Reported in the Pothole on road/cycleway category anonymously at 11:08, Mon 13 May 2019
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council 2 minutes later. Council ref: 351016.
Long chain of holes (5-6m) in the tarmac extending from the west corner of church st and high street out into the square, these holes are between 40 and 50mm deep and in some places 40-50 cm wide. It appears to be subsidence/collapse, along the old church lane gutterline, across which the high street/square is now situated. This area is busy with both traffic passing through the village, parking of the ajacent shop, the rout and stop for the bus and coach services and is a major tripping hazard both for those using the shop and for village events held in the square. Photos included are just a sample.
