There is damage across one side of the entire road, at least 1.5m wide and 3m long
Reported in the Pothole on road/cycleway category anonymously at 21:27, Tue 4 June 2019
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council 3 minutes later. Council ref: 351719.
The road is damaged across pretty much the width of one side and also about 4 meters long. It has been like this for months, progressively getting worse because of the number of lorries, tractors that use this road. It is also on a bend and the damage is so wide that you cannot avoid it unless you go onto the other side of the road. This is not advisable however as the damage is on a bend and bushes, trees make it impossible to be certain there are no oncoming vehicles the other side. There is also a further pot hole on the other side of the road but not that big as yet.

I can see that six weeks have passed since this issue was first reported and, unsurprisingly, the road here has suffered greater deterioration. While none of the problem is ideal, the hole to the rear of this rectangle has deepened and is of great concern. To complicate matters further, the hole at the top of the picture (just to the right of the bush) has deepened substantially also. To avoid any of the holes, motorists must try to pass through an increasingly narrow section which, given the sheer volume and speed of traffic passing along West End Road (tractors, lorries, cars up to 60 miles per hour) is incredibly dangerous - especially as it is on a bend and has a deep ditch on one side. I was asked by neighbours and family members to report this problem and must say that, having seen that someone has already reported this some six weeks ago, I am shocked that no solution has yet been implemented. Should no collision take place or a vehicle end up in the ditch, it is only a matter of time before a vehicle sustains serious damage
