The problem of the pot holes on the A17 near the entry slip road from Heckington is getting worse. There are now at least thirty with all going through the upper surface layer and down to the bed below. Locals know where they are and thus "weave" a way through them resulting in erratic driving. Others, do not use the designated slip road and continue well past it using the hatched area to bypass the majority of the potholes. This leaves other drives confused by their behaviour. In summary, the shear number of deep, ragged holes is getting worse and becoming a real threat to safe driving.
