East bound carriageway outside Castle Farm, Castle Carlton

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council 3 minutes later. Council ref: 352766.

On exiting the series of blind bends around Furze Close Plantation in Station Road, in the track of vehicles nearside wheels is a very deep hole 18 inches long by 12 inches wide. Anyone hitting it with their car will undoubtedly lose at least one wheel.

  • I cannot believe 'no further action'! Are you sure the correct pothole was assessed? The hole in question is in the Eastbound carriageway NOT the Westbound which regularly breaks up into small potholes. The one in the Eastbound carriageway is in my humble opinion the worst and most dangerous pothole in the area, because of its depth and the fact that it is in the track of vehicles nearside wheels.
