The tarmac paving on the pavement running from Barton road up to Mill Lane has worn through. to the extent that mobility Scooters are having to use the roadway to avoid getting stuck. Particularly outside No.15 where a tree root has started to get exposed.

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 353381.
The tarmac surface has worn away over most of the pathway between Barton Road (View photo 3) down towards Mill Lane (view photo 2). But outside my house, (no.15) there is a tree root starting to get exposed (view photo 1). the Surface here is particularly bad and is breaking up due to long periods of frost over the years. Pedestrians with prams and mobility scooters find it particularly difficult to cross the pathway here and could result in a toddler, or worse, a senior citizen sliping over and cusing a very serious injury, i.e fractured limb or worse a head injury. I have seen some elderlies on mobility scooters taking to the roadway, to avoid this part of the pathway. young mothers with push chairs also find difficulty in crossing here. I have only moved here sinc Nov. 2018. And it is obvious that this problem has been buiolding up over a number of years. And now needs addressing quickly before someone slips and injures themselves badly.
