Overgrown leylandii hedges
Reported in the Overgrown tree/hedges category anonymously at 21:44, Wed 31 July 2019
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council 1 minute later. Council ref: 354058.
The hedge is overgrown by about 2 feet over the footpath. As you can see from the photo there is barely enough room for a pedestrian to walk by, let alone anyone in a wheelchair, mobility scooter or with a pushchair. This hedge belongs to either 34 or 36 Oakley drive but they haven’t cut this hedge back for years. It needs cutting back to the edge of the path. The safety of pedestrians at the moment is compromised.

EVEn though the hedge has been cut it is still overgrown. Still no room for a pushchair, wheelchair of mobility scooter to pass. Does the county council not care about the safety of pedestrians? Something needs to be done. You can see from the photos how far the hedge has encroached into the path,- about 2 feet. Please contact the homeowners to get this hedge cut back to level with the boundary or replace it with a fence. Pedestrian safety is paramount.
