Whole surface of junction from leagate rd onto thornton close.
Reported in the Pothole on road/cycleway category anonymously at 16:21, Sat 3 August 2019
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council 3 minutes later. Council ref: 354148.
The Thornton close junction surface is covered in potholes and the whole surface has turned to gravel. The trouble is that it's the whole villages unofficial (playgroup) turning circle, which has churned up the junction and made the surface very unsafe, specially for me on my motorcycle. Even riding at walking pace. I have been out and swept all the loose gravel up to make it less of a hazard. But it's only a matter of time when the playgroup starts up again for it to be dug up again. The whole close needs resurfacing. But the junction is my main concern. The sewer work that is going on at the min has made things much worse, as the junction is still being used as a turning circle but it's HGVs doing the turning.

Although work has been carried out on the junction yesterday. The problem is definatly not fixed. Still loose gravel and still plenty of brittle surface tarmac. The workmen carrying out the job even said the job wasn't good enough, but his hands were tied and he could only do the small patches that were painted (knowing that it wouldn't be good enough) the junction still looks a mess,is still dangerous with loose chipping and will be in the same poor state it was in a week, thanks to the school mums using it as a turning circle. Can someone please come out and see just how bad this repair is and sent them back to finish the job properly.

This junction is not fixed. Workmen have been out and filled the spray painted squares, but it hasn't rectified the problem of loose surface gravel, still brittle and potholed, still dangerous for motorcycles and still looks a mess. The workmen left loads of loose tarmac all over junction and the new patches have already started to churn up. This problem has not been fixed, even by the poorest of workmens standards.
