This problem with a wooden footbridge was reported to you by LCC Countryside Services. I initially reported this issue and was told bridge not responsibility of LCC highways. I then investigated and found that LCC had repaired both wooden footbridges in 2016 and that the contact point was LCC Countryside services as persons responsible for the footpaths, one of which is part of the Spires and Steeples route. If these bridges are not your responsibility to repair please refer back to Countryside services and confirm the action to be taken. It is not sufficient to simply deny responsibility and do nothing.
