Four months ago I reported these pot-holes to the council. No action was taken. "We will continue to monitor this location as part of our safety inspection schedule" Really!
It would have taken no more than a couple of shovels of topping tarmac to patch them at that time. Now they have grown in size, the bedrock/aggregate foundations have gone, they will now need a lot more work to repair. Aggregate needs to be laid, compressed and compacted A bonding layer of tarmac then applied and compacted A topping layer of tarmac applied, rolled and seamlessly joined to the surrounding tarmac
You know there is an old saying: A stich in timeā¦
