Sent to Lincolnshire County Council 2 minutes later. Council ref: 355001.
This repeated flooding problem has been going on for years and Highways have shown zero interest in resolving it. Thousands of pounds spent replacing the road surface but nothing done at all to resolve the drainage issues at all

Phoned Lincolnshire Police at 9.30pm on 27th August to advise them that the road was flooded and that they needed to get Highways out to place signage to warn drivers of the flooding. Looks like that never happened then

This fault will be assessed for the possibility of future permanent works and prioritised according to our Highways Asset Management Plan.
Our programme of works is available at http://www.lincolnshire.gov.uk/ highways-works-programmes and is updated every Autumn. All requests are prioritised within the available annual budget so works may not appear on the next programme.
However, we will continue to monitor this location as part of our routine inspection schedule and issue temporary repairs, where necessary, in accordance with our response times for fault reports.State changed to: Closed

25/09/19 - How can Lincolnshire Highway class this ongoing and repeating problem as closed? The road has been flooded again today and yesterday. This issue is not closed. It needs fixing, not brushing under the carpet hoping that it will just go away

How on earth are Highways listing this repeated issue as 'Closed'? You are being advised nearly weekly, at the moment daily, about the road being completely flooded and impassable to traffic. This has now been ongoing for years. You have wasted tens of thousands of pounds resurfacing the road rather than digging it up and sorting out the underlying problem of the obviously broken drainage system. When is someone actually going to pull their finger out and get the job done?
