Reported in the Blocked drain category anonymously at 14:49, Fri 30 August 2019
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council 1 minute later. Council ref: 355123.
This road gully is about 8 mts. up and on the same side of the road as the entrance to The Beeches, and was cleaned out about a couple of months ago. But told that it needs jet washing to clear it. Your men were so wright, and there Labour wasted to date as the drain just flows over. As the first down the road. That's! All the surface water up Horncastle Rd to just past the junction with Ranyard Lane. 250+ meters of run off going straight down into the Goulceby. With house's flooded after the fact! When will council's realise FUNCTIONING GULLY'S CAN TAKE THOUSANDS OF LITRES OF WATER TO GROUND SOAKAWAYS. STOPPING HEAVY QUICK DOWNPOURS GOING STRAIGHT TO LOW LYING FLOOD PRONE TOWNS AND RIVER'S.
