Deep pothole and road subsiding in the southbound carriageway in line with to the pedestrian access path/gate to The Coach House
Reported in the Pothole on road/cycleway category anonymously at 16:32, Tue 3 September 2019
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council 3 minutes later. Council ref: 355317.
Deep pothole and road subsiding where road has been filled over manhole cover, in the southbound carriageway in line with to the pedestrian access path/gate to The Coach House. Lorries in particular are causing a massive bang and the whole house is vibrating as a result. This has been getting worse for a couple of months now and the area should be properly levelled to avoid causing structural damage to nearby properties. Additionally a 30mph limit is long overdue on this section of road, due to multiple fatalities at the junction with Blackjack. Moderate traffic speeds would not only save lives but decrease the repeated damage to this section of road, which is being caused by 40 tonne trucks travelling at 60mph!

Fail to understand the reason for Highways update: "State changed to: No further action Updated by Lincolnshire County Council at 12:20 today" The hole in the road and subsided area around it remains, the massive banging continues ....... Why no further action?

Please share with us why you keep changing this to 'no further action' ? NB. If any cracks appear in the walls of my home as a result, I will be holding highways legally responsible; as it will be proven that you (they) have neglected a fault which has been correctly reported!

As I was waiting to pull out of my drive today, an articulated lorry went over the hole and subsided area, it bounced so hard that a massive heavy lump of steel broke off flying along the road almost hitting my vehicle.....! Come on do something before someone gets seriously hurt here!

Massive banging as lorries heading south pass over this ever-increasing hole and the cover next to my neighbor's house.... our light fittings are rattling, please at least have the courtesy to respond to this long-standing defect..... Highways will be held legally responsible damage occuring to my property as this has gone on long enough!
