The entire edge of the road has broken away.
Reported in the Damaged road edge, encroaches more than 100mm category anonymously at 11:17, Wed 4 September 2019
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council 47 minutes later. Council ref: 355349.
The edge of the road of Eleven Acre Lane, Kirton, at the entry from Wash Road and up to the council houses has broken away due to heavy vehicles eg. large lorries and very large farm machinery. The damage is so bad that it is dangerous for pedestrians, cyclists and any vehicles. Also the hedge at Beech Tree farm is causing vehicles to continually move towards the damaged edge. It is not an exaggeration to say that this is an accident waiting to happen. Please do something before someone is hurt. There are several children who walk to school along this road. This dangerous problem needs your attention. This is not just minor damage there is an ongoing problem that needs to be addressed as this lane continues, and will continue to see an ever increasing amount of heavy duty vehicles.
