There is no evidence of any attempt to sort this out. This is the second time I have reported that no-one has attempted to sort this out

West Road has been flooded now for several days, and completely impassible on foot causing inconvenience to the village residents wishing to walk to the Doctor's Surgery in particular. Cars not wishing to risk it are now having to go round 3 sides of the square to get around the village. Incidentally no one has bothered to put any ROAD FLOODED signs up either. Road gullies have been pumped out on several occasions to no avail, it is probably because the drain pipes are either blocked or collapsed, has ELDC done a CCTV survey of the drain? Is this a combined Surface & Foul Water drain, if so it is a Public Health Risk as well as an inconvenience! With winter coming this needs to be sorted once and for all.

Please can you explain why you continue to ask me if this has been fixed. There has been no attempt at clearing the drains and I am puzzled as to why you keep asking me. Surely you know whether or not you have initiated a remedy to this problem? Please contact me as a matter of urgency on 07946575720

It has been noted that a drain-jetting company has been working on West Road outside the Doctor's Surgery this week, hopefully they will sort out ALL the blocked-up road gullies along this road whilst they are on site. After that, there are several rather deep and dangerous pot-holes which are getting worse by the week that still need immediate attention.

LCC - Your latest update is incorrect, in that no work whatsoever has been done to make good the considerable pot holes on West Road, there are two very large ones, long and deep, right on the line of a car's inside wheels when driving in a southerly direction. With regards to the flooding, I think that we will reserve judgement until the next time we get any quantity of rain!!
