An Ambulance has not broken down in the flooded part (Sunday). Lives are being put at risk the longer this is left.

Shocking how this extreme problem is being left to reoccur time and time again. This weekend before the road was closed off I’ve seen 3 vehicles stuck in the deep water requiring assistance. Will it take loss of life to get this problem sorted by the council ? It’s not a minor puddle !!!!!! Access for schools and businesses is paramount for this village and I find it odd that permissions have been granted for the new fishing lakes but the access to get to them every time it rains is being ignored. Maybe the Lincs Echo need to cover this.

Still flooded and no possibility of passing along this road. Several cars have attempted it and ended up submerged in water. There have been repeated episodes of flooding here after periods of rain and previous attempts to fix the issue clearly have not worked.

Might not be able to get to the new fishing lakes, but at lest you can see them - if you stand in the right spot

This fault will be assessed for the possibility of future permanent works and prioritised according to our Highways Asset Management Plan.
Our programme of works is available at http://www.lincolnshire.gov.uk/ highways-works-programmes and is updated every Autumn. All requests are prioritised within the available annual budget so works may not appear on the next programme.
However, we will continue to monitor this location as part of our routine inspection schedule and issue temporary repairs, where necessary, in accordance with our response times for fault reports.State changed to: Closed

This problem is persisting. There have been no attempts to even pump the water out, which is the obvious short term solution, pending a proper long term solution. The LCC Highways department have a statutory duty under Part 4, Section 41 of the Highways Act 1980 to maintain the highway. leaving it impassable for a week is not maintaining it adequately. As a separate rant, just popping up the standard response to these complaints as seen above is pitiful, meaningless and wildly frustrating. just get on and do it!!

So the road is flooded again, about time this was escalated especially with more rain expected over the next few days.
