Drains now backing up
Reported in the Blocked drain category anonymously at 19:38, Sun 6 October 2019
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council 4 minutes later. Council ref: 356659.
Already flooded but no rain for few hours but even more water. Seems to be coming up out of the 4 drains in the road. Not been free from the flood water for 10 days solid this time. We need to know what is being done to remedy this please.

This has been an ongoing issue for months now but is now getting worse with water hardly disappearing at all. Water is also now covering one path so pedestrians have to cross to the other side which is also starting to be covered by the water.
I worry for the cold weather. If it freezes it'll be even more lethal and so will the paths.
Please prioritise this to the highest level.

The flooding has been drained today after some work on the drains. We will wait and see what happens when we next get rain. I am clearing the many reports of flooding from the open list. If it comes back then we will report it to LCC again.

This fault will be assessed for the possibility of future permanent works and prioritised according to our Highways Asset Management Plan.
Our programme of works is available at http://www.lincolnshire.gov.uk/ highways-works-programmes and is updated every Autumn. All requests are prioritised within the available annual budget so works may not appear on the next programme.
However, we will continue to monitor this location as part of our routine inspection schedule and issue temporary repairs, where necessary, in accordance with our response times for fault reports.State changed to: Closed
