Deep depression in road surface some 80cm across and approx 15cm deep. This could easily throw a rider off if a cycle or motor cycle if they hit at even a low speed. Would appear some previous investigation has been carried out, with two holes in centre of deep depression. If left over winter this must lead to water ingress under top surface and subsequent freezing in turn lifting Tarmac.
